Let's be honest.....

Let's be honest here. Before I had a baby there were many things I could do without blinking an eye. Examples are take a nap anytime, button my pants up, get 8 hours or more of uninterrupted sleep, didn't have to try to find where I smelled baby puke on myself, date night with my hubby and the house was pretty clean most of the time. Mason's been alive for 221 day's and I can honestly say I'm happier now than I have ever been in my whole life. I love my husband. I love my son. I love my family. I am the luckiest woman alive to have such a loving support system.

So what if I average 4-6 hours of sleep a night. I could use an IV drip of coffee most mornings but I wouldn't trade it for the world. I adore waking up every morning and get to snuggle with this happy face.

We celebrated Mother's Day by relaxing as a family and eating delicious food. The boy's let me sleep in till 7:30. I can't remember the last time I slept that late. I know it was definitely at least 221 days ago. When I woke up I had a gorgeous plant of lily's waiting for me. Instead of getting me a bouquet of flowers that would die within the week. Josh usually gets me something I can plant in my yard and see grow.

We went to a yummy breakfast early enough to beat the crowds and came home and relaxed till mid afternoon. I took two naps. Wahoo!!! After the second I put the baby back ribs on the bbq and relaxed till it was time to baste them with a little sauce. Thanks husband for such an amazing day! You're my rock and my everything. I love being a mom. It's the best job in the entire world. I couldn't live a day without seeing this handsome little tot smile. Happy Mother's Day too all the mom's out there who follow our blog. Sorry I stink at updating but life just gets so darn busy!
